About EbikeWiki

EbikeWiki is an independent publisher of buying guides for electric bikes. We help readers work out which ebike fits their budget, commute, terrain and storage space, what the ebike classes mean, and what to check on battery safety and support before buying.

What we do

  • Explain the choices. Classes, motors, torque sensors, batteries, range and frame types are explained in plain English.
  • Compare products fairly. We compare manufacturer specifications, warranty and support terms, and what published reviews and buyers report, and we say where information is missing.
  • Put safety first. Lithium batteries need care. We look for recognised certifications, link to official sources such as the CPSC and do not give medical or legal advice.

Who writes the guides

Guides are written by the EbikeWiki editorial desks listed on our editorial policy page. The desks are editorial teams, not individual reviewers, and an article never claims hands-on testing unless it says so.

How we make money

EbikeWiki is supported by affiliate links. When you buy through some links we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never decides what we recommend. Read the full affiliate disclosure.
